FAQ - Summer of Sports + Infrastructure
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Summer of Sports + Infrastructure? Summer of Sports + Infrastructure is a national platform that connects sports communities to active infrastructure investment across the United States and Caribbean — linking workforce, suppliers, and sponsors to the projects being built right now.
Who is this for? The platform serves four audiences: companies looking to sponsor or partner, government and economic development agencies, job seekers and athletes entering the workforce, and contractors and suppliers looking to get in front of procurement teams.
What is the LocalContent.com Letter of Verification? The Letter of Verification is a compliance documentation tool issued through LocalContent.com. It is accepted for RFP submissions, licensing filings, and incentive applications — and is included with every sponsorship tier.
What markets are active in 2026? Seven markets are confirmed for 2026: New York City / Long Island, Newark NJ, Philadelphia PA, Las Vegas NV, Miami FL, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ten total markets are targeted for 2026, with expansion to 20 markets planned for 2027.
What's the difference between the sponsorship tiers? The Standard Listing ($525/market) gives your company a verified directory presence and lets you publish your top 5 supplier needs. The Featured Market Partner ($1,250/market) adds workforce publishing — your top 5 open jobs — plus featured placement and event activation. The Investment Partner tier (from $10,000) is a fully custom engagement built around your project footprint, workforce strategy, and market scope.
What does "publish your top 5 jobs / supplier needs" mean? As part of your sponsorship, you can list the five job titles you hire most and the five supplier categories you most need to contract. These are published in the LocalContent.com ecosystem and matched to workforce candidates and vendors actively seeking infrastructure opportunities in your markets.
When does the directory go live? The Work, Build, Stay & Play Business Directory publishes June 1, 2026.
What is the Sports, Media + Infrastructure Business Academy? The Academy is a 5-day program running July 13–17, 2026 in New York and Long Island during FIFA World Cup Championship Finals Week. It serves participants ages 10–24 and is operated under Sports Power Infrastructure™.
Is there a nonprofit component? Yes. The SPIN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating under license from Sports Power Infrastructure™. Participation grant programs are available through the Foundation for eligible individuals and organizations.
