Long Island basketball has always represented more than the game itself. From legendary high school rivalries to packed gyms across Nassau and Suffolk County, basketball has long been connected to community pride, culture, and opportunity throughout the region. That same spirit continues to fuel the growth of We All We Got Long Island Basketball All-Star Game | once-a-year collaboration designed to celebrate the talent, energy, and future of Long Island basketball.

Founded in 2016 by Jahniel Watson, We All We Got was built as a year-round grassroots basketball training program focused on athlete exposure, mentorship, and community impact. What started as a local basketball initiative quickly evolved into one of the region’s emerging showcases centered around competition, leadership, and creating opportunities for athletes beyond the court in having it’s very first Long Island showcase in 2022.
In 2024, the annual event took another major step forward when Tyrone Tillman, owner of EBE Sports Career & Training and Tenicka Chaney, Managing Director of Sports Power Infrastructure, joined the collaboration as lead sponsors and organizers. Their involvement helped expand the showcase beyond basketball by connecting the platform to athlete development, branding, workforce exposure, leadership, and long-term community impact.
Tillman, a longtime Long Island resident and respected youth sports leader, was a standout Division I basketball athlete at Delaware State University and a Top 10 alumni athlete of Amityville High School. Through EBE Sports, he has helped mentor and develop athletes across Long Island while emphasizing leadership, discipline, mentorship, exposure, and long-term growth opportunities that extend far beyond the basketball court and into the community.
Chaney, a longtime Long Island community and business leader, has supported projects spanning utilities, energy, technology, manufacturing, professional sports organizations, and workforce initiatives across the U.S. and the Caribbean. Through Sports Power Infrastructure, she has helped advance workforce development, supplier engagement, local content, youth sports partnerships, athlete exposure, and community impact initiatives across basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and New Jersey World Cup-related programs.
In 2025, the We All We Got All-Star Game was hosted at Next Level Huntington, where the showcase continued building momentum while attracting support from athletes, coaches, families, and local businesses throughout Long Island.
Now, preparations are underway for the 2026 We All We Got All-Star Game scheduled for June 6 at Long Island Lutheran High School (LuHi), one of the nation’s premier basketball venues known for elite competition and nationally recognized talent.
Joining the 2026 planning committee is 3MG Designs "Maximum Marketing Enterprises", led by longtime Long Island entrepreneur Rodini Almonacy. The company specializes in graphics, branding, apparel production, printing, and promotional marketing support for businesses, athletes, and community events throughout the region.
Also joining the 2026 collaboration is The SPIN Foundation, founded by Executive Director William Certain, which will serve as the official 501(c)(3) charitable partner and Sports Power Infrastructure licensee partner supporting career exposure, workforce pathways, and future opportunities for student-athletes beyond sports.
Together, Jahniel Watson, Tyrone Tillman, Tenicka Chaney, Rodini Almonacy, and William Certain represent a group of longtime Long Island residents and business leaders committed to investing back into the communities they serve through sports, mentorship, education, and opportunity.
