For generations, athletic success has been measured by championships, scholarships, and professional opportunities. Yet the greatest value of sports often extends far beyond the final score. Athletics develops discipline, leadership, teamwork, resilience, communication, and the ability to perform under pressure, qualities that employers, colleges, and communities increasingly value.

Today, the United States is experiencing one of the largest infrastructure and economic investment cycles in its history. Four industries illustrate the opportunity. The energy sector supports more than 8 million jobs as investments expand in grid modernization, clean energy, manufacturing, and construction. Artificial intelligence is driving historic investment in data centers, semiconductors, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure. Film and digital media production continue to grow through state incentives that create jobs for creators, technicians, and suppliers. Maritime, tourism, hospitality, and gaming generate trillions of dollars in economic activity while relying on leadership, teamwork, logistics, and customer service.
These industries are competing for the very qualities athletes develop throughout their lives.
Athletes Make The Best™ U.S. Top 100 All-State™ was created to connect athletic achievement with lifelong opportunity.
The program is powered by Sports Power Infrastructure, a technology platform that helps governments, utilities, companies, and nonprofits increase participation in workforce, savings, supplier, and community programs by rewarding people with sports and entertainment experiences. Through one verified platform, athletic performance becomes a gateway to education, workforce development, supplier opportunities, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility.
Athletes receive a Sports Power Rating™, a standardized score based on Speed, Strength and Agility (40%), Education and Career Readiness (40%), and Verified Athletic Performance (20%), with the final component verified in person by certified third-party trainers. Participants compete throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring Sports Power Infrastructure League™ season, with the highest scores in each division earning recognition in the annual Athletes Make The Best™ U.S. Top 100 All-State™ rankings, published each June.
Athletes Make The Best™ serves as the official media and commerce partner of Sports Power Infrastructure™. Through rankings, interviews, podcasts, photography, video, merchandise, and premium experiences, it celebrates athletes while connecting them to careers, business opportunities, and community impact.
The platform recognizes athletes of every generation, from youth to seniors. A signature initiative is the Athletes Make The Best™ Top 50 Over 50, honoring athletes 50 years of age and older whose experiences in sports shaped successful careers, businesses, military service, public service, coaching, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. Whether they are still working, retired, or supported by caregivers, participants can register, upload an audio recording of their story, answer interview questions, and preserve the lessons sports taught them throughout life. Their stories are featured throughout the league season, and each year the public selects the Top 50 Over 50 based on the legacy they have built both on and beyond the playing field.
Launching first in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Arkansas, Texas, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, Athletes Make The Best™ U.S. Top 100 All-State™ establishes a new national standard for recognizing athletic performance, leadership, and career readiness. By combining verified performance, storytelling, and workforce opportunity, the platform demonstrates that the greatest achievement of an athlete is not only how they competed, but how they continue to lead, inspire, and create lasting impact throughout their lives.
