Why does this campaign focus on workforce voids? +
Because America has 4.3 million open jobs across healthcare, trades, first response, building, and infrastructure — and 8.7 million athletes about to age out of sports with no plan. The two problems are each other's solution.
Who can join the Academy? +
Anyone. Current athletes, retired athletes, parents, coaches, weekend warriors. No gatekeeping. The only requirement is that you believe in the mission.
How do I "earn while I learn"? +
Four streams: affiliate commissions ($10/tee, $20/hoodie referred), State Team payouts (bonuses for milestones), featured-story bonuses (paid placement if your story is selected), and workforce placement bonuses (paid when you accept a job match). Top earners clear $500–$5,000 per season.
What's a State Team and how do meetings work? +
Every state has a virtual team that meets twice weekly during each season — Tuesdays at 7pm local for strategy, Sundays at 7pm local for game film and submissions. Each meeting is 45 minutes max. State Captains lead them.
How does my state win the featured episode? +
By scoring the most points across the season: athletes recruited, bundles sold, casting submissions, modules completed, and workforce placements made. The winning state's full episode of The Last Whistle gets filmed in their state.
Who's funding the workforce placement side? +
Hospitals, trade unions, regional employers, first responder departments, and infrastructure firms have all been begging for recruits. We're building the formal partnerships state by state through the Workforce Captains.
What happens after July 31? +
The Freshman Class of 2025 graduates. The winning state films its episode. The Foundation launches. State Teams keep competing. Year 2 begins. The road to a million workers continues.
