Each state team is led by a roster of General Managers and Coaches drawn from sports, media and infrastructure whose mission is to recruit athletes, build state partnerships, mentor every player and fan competing in the competition, identify current and retired athletes within their state's infrastructure sectors and recruit them to apply for the Athletes Make the Best casting call where the strongest stories become the documentary series that proves their state is the Best Place to Work for Athletes.
