Athletes Make The Best™ in partnership with 501(c)(3) nonprofit The SPIN Foundation powers the Summer of Sports + Infrastructure Business & Community Grants program.
This initiative expands access for athletes of all levels current and retired, emerging suppliers, small businesses, students, and families seeking entry into commercial, industrial, digital, and offshore wind sectors.
The goal is simple. Remove financial barriers. Unlock participation. Build the next generation of infrastructure leaders and operators.
What the Grants Support
Business and Community Grants may provide support for:
- Athlete transition into business and infrastructure careers
- Supplier and small business participation in premium events and project ecosystems
- Summer Academy enrollment for students ages 16 to 24
- Sports Power Infrastructure Internship participation
- Workforce exposure and industry immersion programming
This is not charity. It is performance-based access to opportunity.

If you are a current or retired athlete, entrepreneur, or supplier seeking support to participate in Summer of Sports + Infrastructure programming, you may apply for grant consideration.
Grants are awarded based on readiness, alignment, and demonstrated commitment to growth and execution.

Families may apply for Summer Academy support and Sports Power Ratings participation assistance.
These programs introduce students and young professionals to commercial, industrial, digital, and offshore wind career pathways through structured exposure, mentorship, and hands on experience.
Grant support may assist with tuition and participation costs.
