NEWARK, N.J. — Sports Power Infrastructure (SPI) today announced the launch of Athletes Make the Best Brand Ambassadors™ in New Jersey, an athlete-led workforce, supplier, and community engagement platform that hires and trains teen, adult, and senior athletes for paid Brand Ambassador opportunities while helping organizations build stronger brands, stronger communities, and stronger local economies.

The program builds on the success of the Sports Power Infrastructure Combine at Ivy Hill Soccer Fest, powered by the NJ World Cup Community Initiative. The activation demonstrated how the momentum surrounding the 2026 World Cup can create lasting workforce opportunities, strengthen local businesses, expand community engagement, and connect athletes with careers beyond the playing field such as industries in utility, energy, broadband, maritime, manufacturing, and TV/Films industries.

Licensed to Technoforce, the platform provides professionally trained Brand Ambassadors to corporations, government agencies, utilities, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, sports organizations, and infrastructure developers. Many infrastructure projects receive domestic and international investment through grants, tax incentives, financing programs, and public-private partnerships that require the use of local suppliers, local workers, and measurable community benefits. Known as Local Content Requirements (LCRs), these initiatives help create jobs, strengthen local businesses, and deliver lasting economic impact. Through Sports Power Infrastructure, athletes are trained to educate communities about these opportunities while supporting outreach for projects ranging from hospitals and energy efficiency initiatives to commercial real estate and transportation.

Built on the belief that Athletes Make the Best™, the platform recognizes the leadership, teamwork, discipline, communication, resilience, and accountability developed through sports as valuable skills that help athletes represent organizations and inspire communities.

Every Made in USA co-branded Athletes Make the Best™ T-shirt also serves as a workforce awareness tool by featuring five careers connected to the sponsoring industry, introducing participants to opportunities across New Jersey's fastest-growing industries.

“This program creates paid opportunities for athletes while helping organizations educate communities, recruit future talent, and introduce residents to careers connected to New Jersey’s growing economy,” said Tenicka Chaney, Managing Director of Athletes Make the Best™ and Sports Power Infrastructure. “Every activation transforms sports into economic opportunity.”

“Athletes are trusted messengers, and this program proves how powerful that trust can be,” said Robin Berg Tabakin, Esq., MBA, President of Technoforce. “When athletes engage directly with residents, they help families access real savings, real resources, and real career pathways. It’s community impact delivered through the power of sports.”
